These stylish French Art Deco console tables are constructed in very good quality mahogany and satinwood in high gloss lacquer with nickeled brass-mounted pediment bases, circa 1920.
Gracefully designed tables or consoles embody the element typical of the French Art Deco period. Originally was a dining table that was modified.
Will display well in a lobby, entry, dining room or behind a sofa. They are a very comfortable height for serving from, as well. Priced separately.

This piece is offered in the manner of Alfred Porteneuve. What follows is about the maker whose work it follows, not a statement that it left their hand.
Alfred Porteneuve was a French Art Deco furniture designer and the nephew of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann (1879–1933), one of the leading figures of the Art Deco movement. Porteneuve worked closely with his uncle, producing furniture designed by Ruhlmann and stamped "Dessiné par Ruhlmann, Édité par Porteneuve" — desks, armchairs, and tables in materials such as Macassar ebony, mahogany, and thuya burl.
Beyond executing Ruhlmann's designs, Porteneuve was also a designer in his own right during the 1930s, continuing in the luxury Art Deco idiom associated with the Ruhlmann workshop.
Because Porteneuve's documented work overlaps closely with pieces "designed by Ruhlmann, produced by Porteneuve," attribution between the two names on individual pieces should be read carefully rather than assumed.

Every piece ships from our warehouse in Miami. Furniture travels white-glove with BMC International Freight, room of choice, subject to the carrier’s access at your address. Freight transit is typically 7–14 business days; we contact you to arrange a delivery window. Smaller pieces travel insured by ground courier.
International
We ship worldwide, quoted case by case. Tell us the piece and the destination and we will price crating, freight, insurance and customs handling for you.
Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
