Shipping policy
Where we ship from
Everything we list is physically in stock in Miami, Florida. Nothing is drop-shipped from Europe, so there is no transatlantic wait, no customs clearance and no import duty for domestic buyers.
How shipping is priced
Shipping is quoted per order. We do not charge a generic estimate. Once you order — or before, if you ask — we price the actual crate, the actual route and the actual service level for your piece, and confirm it with you.
We do this because our inventory ranges from a small porcelain box to a 300-pound armoire, and no flat rate is honest across that range.
Small and medium pieces
Lamps, vases, prints, ceramics, boxes and similar objects ship via FedEx or UPS Ground, fully insured, signature required. Typical transit: 3–7 business days after dispatch.
Furniture and large pieces
Furniture, large mirrors, chandeliers and monumental objects ship by white-glove freight through our carrier, BMC International Freight.
- Delivery is room of choice, subject to the carrier's ability to access your address (stairs, lifts, doorway widths, parking).
- Typical transit: 7–14 business days, varying by destination.
- The carrier contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
If your address has access constraints, tell us before you order and we will plan around them.
Packing
Every piece is packed by hand using museum-quality materials. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam. Glass shelves, removable tops and detachable elements are taken off, packed separately and re-seated on arrival.
Dispatch times
Most pieces dispatch within 3–5 business days of your order. Larger pieces requiring a custom crate may take longer, and we will tell you when we confirm your shipping quote.
If we cannot dispatch within the time we quoted you, we will contact you with a revised date, and you may cancel for a full refund at that point.
International shipping
We ship worldwide, quoted case by case. International orders are not priced automatically at checkout. Tell us the piece and the destination and we will quote crating, freight, insurance and customs handling. Import duties, taxes and customs charges in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our quote.
