The piece
A captivating and beautiful original oil on canvas painting depicting the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France seen from the back and the Seine in the foreground and to the right. The light is that of early evening, just before nightfall. It is one of those painting that changes depending on how it is lit: in the sun, the colors are soft; in the shade, it looks as if the sun has just set.

Unsigned and unattributed. We are of the opinion that the painting dates possibly to the late 19th and most certainly the very early 20th century.

The painting is on its original high quality canvas and is professionally framed. Very good condition consistent with materials and age. Has been restored by a reputable professional that has brought special paintings back to life for us. Measures: Depth 1.50 in. x Width 19.75 in. x Height 26 in.

Every piece ships from our warehouse in Miami. Furniture travels white-glove with BMC International Freight, room of choice, subject to the carrier’s access at your address. Freight transit is typically 7–14 business days; we contact you to arrange a delivery window. Smaller pieces travel insured by ground courier.

Packing

Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.

If something arrives damaged

Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.

Returns

One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
