This high quality Murano art glass vase is hand blown. It is designed in the manner of some Paolo Venini vases, most of which are circa 1956.
Measures:
Depth 3.25 in. x Width 5.75 in. x Height 8.13 in.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition, wear consistent with age, materials and use.
Minor scratches on the bottom and small bubbles on the handles.
One side handle might have been repaired. No cracks or chips.

This piece is offered in the manner of Paolo Venini. What follows is about the maker whose work it follows, not a statement that it left their hand.
Paolo Venini was born in 1895 in Cusano, near Milan, and trained and practiced as a lawyer in Milan after service in the Italian Army during the First World War. Through antiques dealer Giacomo Cappellin, he entered the Murano glass trade, and in 1921 the two founded a glass factory on Murano, Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin Venini & C.
Venini went on to found the eponymous Venini & C. glassworks, which became a leading force in the revival of Murano art glass in the 1930s and 1940s, employing designers including Gio Ponti and Tyra Lundgren. He died in 1959.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
