A powerful and expressive French mid-century sculpted bull, hand-crafted in mixed earthenware and dating to the 1970s. This impressive decorative sculpture features a strong, stylized form with dynamic carving lines that emphasize movement, musculature, and character. The deep black surface and naturally aged patina give the piece a commanding presence, making it a superb accent for modern, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
The bull is artist-signed “Tali”, and also bears a unique branding mark, echoing the visual language of ranch livestock and adding an unexpected narrative element to the work. Though little is known about the artist, the craftsmanship is notable—demonstrating a confident hand, sculptural sensitivity, and refined mid-century French design sensibilities.
Symbolically associated with strength, resilience, and upward momentum, this bull sculpture also makes a meaningful statement piece for stockbrokers, traders, investors, and anyone working in the financial markets—a sophisticated nod to the iconic “bull market.”
Perfect for display on a desk, console, bookshelf, entry table, or credenza, this substantial work makes a distinctive and memorable gift for collectors and professionals alike.
