Louis Auguste Dage (1885-1963)
Louis Dage began his career in the fives-Lille earthenware factory. After a short stay in Saint-Aubin-en-Bray, he continued his training in Beauvais where Greber and Auguste Delaherche factories are located. In 1920, he sets up the Faëncerie d'Art in Anthony (Paris) with Jean de la Fontinelle who was specialist in animal ceramic.
In 1924, Louis Dage wins the famous “Meilleur ouvrier de France” award. In the early 1930s, he works for the decoration of the liner Le Normandie.
In 1935, he will manage the Saint-Sever (Landes) earthenware factory. He created numerous magnificent works of art.

Louis Auguste Dage (1885–1963) was a French ceramicist who trained at the Fives-Lille earthenware factory and continued his training in Beauvais. In 1920 he co-founded the Faïencerie d'Art in Antony, near Paris, with Jean de la Fontinelle, a specialist in animal ceramics.
Dage won the Meilleur Ouvrier de France award in 1924. In the early 1930s he contributed to the decoration of the ocean liner Normandie, and in 1935 he took over management of the Saint-Sever earthenware factory.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
