Salvador Dalí was born May 11, 1904, in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, and died January 23, 1989, in the same town. He showed early talent for art and went on to study at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.
In 1929 Dalí formally joined the Paris Surrealist movement, drawing on Freudian ideas about dreams and the unconscious. His best-known painting is "The Persistence of Memory" (1931), featuring melting clocks.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.

Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
