This piece is offered in the manner of Berndt Friberg. What follows is about the maker whose work it follows, not a statement that it left their hand.
Berndt Friberg was born in 1899 in Höganäs, southern Sweden, into a family of ceramicists, and began working at the local Höganäs ceramic factory at age 13, remaining there for 18 years. In 1934 he joined the Gustavsberg porcelain factory under artistic director Wilhelm Kåge, and from 1937 also worked alongside Stig Lindberg.
He debuted as an independent ceramicist in 1941 and held his first solo exhibition at NK in Stockholm in 1954. His stoneware forms, thrown and glazed by his own hand, drew on Chinese Song dynasty stoneware.

Freight transit is typically 7–14 business days; we contact you to arrange a delivery window. Smaller pieces travel insured by ground courier.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
