This vase does not have any imperfections, when images were taken, the photographer could not obtain the perfect angle to diffuse the lights. The spots visible on pictures derive only from flashlight.

The Barovier family's glassmaking on Murano traces to Jacobello Barovier, documented from around 1295, making Barovier & Toso one of the world's oldest continuously operating family businesses. Angelo Barovier developed a notably clear glass formula in the 15th century, and his daughter Marietta Barovier is credited with the multi-layered star-patterned "rosetta" bead.
The modern firm was established in 1878 as Artisti Barovier; it relocated briefly to Livorno during World War I before returning to Murano in 1919. In 1936 it merged with Ferro Toso, taking the name Barovier & Toso in 1942. Ercole Barovier led the firm as art director from 1936 until 1972, guiding it through Art Deco and modernist design.

Every piece ships from our warehouse in Miami. Furniture travels white-glove with BMC International Freight, room of choice, subject to the carrier’s access at your address. Freight transit is typically 7–14 business days; we contact you to arrange a delivery window. Smaller pieces travel insured by ground courier.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
One day from delivery for a change of mind — buyer pays shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If the fault is ours, none of that applies: 7 days, full refund including your original shipping, we pay the return freight, no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
