Anatole Riecke was a Russian-born artist who settled in Paris and worked there through the Art Deco years. He is best known for engraved and cut glass in a cubist idiom.
Between 1930 and 1937 he was responsible for the Art Deco glass decoration of the restaurant La Coupole in Montparnasse, and pieces of his are dated to those years.
Riecke is thinly documented compared with his contemporaries, and dates for him vary between sources. We state what the piece itself carries — signature, engraved date — and mark the rest as opinion.

Packing
Packed by hand. Fragile items are double-boxed with custom foam inserts. Glass and detachable elements are removed, packed separately and reassembled on arrival.

Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us within 48 hours. We handle all freight claims directly and will arrange a resolution.
Returns
